Valynda Wells, Ph.D.

Education:        B.A., Kalamazoo College, M.S.(R) and Ph.D. in clinical psychology. 
                         Internship in clinical psychology at Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex.

Licensed as a psychologist in Wisconsin since 1992.

Dr. Wells sees patients ages four through 65.  She has more than 14 years of experience in treating behavior problems in children, and ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) throughout the lifespan.  She works to empower parents to be effective advocates for their children’s educational needs.  She also specializes in treating survivors of trauma and patients with PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder).  Dr. Wells has extensive training in a therapy technique for trauma called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
